  1. Population and dissenters: There are in this Parish about a Hundred Families; of Them Two are Dissenters of the Presbyterian kind.

  2. Public or charity schools: There is no Such School in this Parish.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: Here is No Alms-house or Hospitall, or other charitable Endowment; Nor any Thing left to any Pious use, except Some Few Legacyes to the Poor, which are, I Believe, Faithfully Manag’d.

  4. Residence upon cure: I do Reside personally upon my Cure, and in my Parsonage House, all the Time I am Not Resident upon my Cure of Cullumpton.

  5. Curate: My Curate is Mr. William Saunders, duly Qualified According to the Canons in that Behalf. He does not Reside in the Parish, but within a Mile and half of the church: I allow Him Thirty-five pounds a year.

  6. Divine service at other churches: No.

  7. Frequency of divine service: Twice Every Lord’s day, with a Sermon in the Morning and afternoon; and on all Holy days.

  8. Frequency of communion: Seven or Eight Times in a year.

  9. Number of communicants: I Believe, There may be about a Hundred Communicants in this Parish, though there do not usually Receive above Twenty or Thirty at a time: between Thirty and Forty was the Number at Easter Last.

  10. Catechising of children: The Children are Catechis’d about two Months in the year after the Second Lesson at Evening Prayer.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: Here is a chapel a mile Distant from the Parish-Church in which there has No Divine Service been Perform’d for Time Immemoriall, and is now Converted into a Dwelling House; – There is Payable to the Rector Four Shillings and ten Pence yearly from two or three adjoyning Tenements, under the name of chapel Rent.
